Click "+ New recipe" from the list. Fill in the title, ingredients and instructions (all three are required) and, if you like, categories, dish type, cuisine, language, servings, time, and photos or videos.

Yes. After filling everything in your language, click the "➕ Add language" button: the same full form appears to translate it into the other two languages, completely optional. Photos are shared, no need to upload them again. If you leave a language blank, the recipe simply won't show in that language — anyone viewing it sees it in their own language if a translation exists, or otherwise in the original language.

Yes. Under "Categories" there's a dropdown: pick one and it shows up as a bubble below; add as many as you like and remove them with the "×".

Open the recipe — if you're the one who posted it (or you're an admin), you'll see "Edit" and "Delete" buttons at the top. When editing, the photos and videos you already uploaded show up with a checkbox to remove each one.

Anyone can see the recipes, photos, videos and comments without needing an account. To publish your own recipes, comment, rate, like, or save favorites, you do need to sign in.

Inside the recipe there's a star rating section (1 to 5), a "❤️ Like" button, and a "☆ Add to favorites" button. These are three different things: the rating computes an average, the like is a simple count, and favorites are your personal list.

Yes, at the bottom of each recipe there's a comment thread where you can write, reply to another comment, and attach photos.

Yes, type @ followed by their username (e.g. @maria). If it matches someone, it turns into a link to their profile, and they get notified. If the name doesn't match anyone, it just stays as plain text.

Inside the recipe, click the "Download PDF" button and a document will be generated with the title, the cover photo, ingredients and instructions, using the site's colors. The button itself shows a small flag indicating which language it'll download in — if the recipe has no translation into your current language, it downloads in its original language instead, so you never get a half-translated document. The photo shown is the one you marked as "★ Cover photo" when editing the recipe (or the first one you uploaded, if you haven't marked any).

Inside the recipe, click "🔗 Share": on mobile it opens your share menu (WhatsApp, email...); on desktop it copies the link directly.

It's sponsored content managed directly by the site's administrator, not an external ad network — no tracking or cookies involved. They always carry that label so they're clearly distinguished from real recipes.

On Home, click "🔍 Filter": you can search by text, or filter by category, dish type, cuisine and language at once. By default, Home only shows recipes available in your current language (with a notice and a link to see all languages if you want); and if you have "tastes" saved in your profile, with no other filters you'll see matching recipes first.

The bell 🔔 in the menu lets you know when someone follows you, comments or replies on one of your recipes, rates you or a recipe, or welcomes you when you sign up. It checks automatically every so often, without needing to reload the page.

Yes, on "My profile", inside "✏️ Edit my profile", there's a notifications section with a checkbox for each type — turn off the ones you don't want. They're all on by default.

On your own profile, if you follow anyone, you'll see a section with what they've been up to lately (new recipes, likes, comments, ratings). Only you see it, and only from people you follow.

Your personal list, only you see it. From any recipe, tap "🛒 Add to shopping list" to add all its ingredients at once, or add loose items by hand. You can also save "your staples" (things you always buy, like milk or toilet paper) to add them with one tap without typing. You can view it grouped by recipe or by supermarket section (Vegetables, Meat & fish, Dairy...), whichever you prefer each time.

A personal planner (only you see it) to assign a recipe to breakfast, lunch, dessert, afternoon snack, dinner, and dinner dessert each day, week by week. The dropdowns only show recipes of the dish type that makes sense for each slot (for example, no main courses offered for breakfast). You can save any week as a named "favorite menu" to apply it to a future week with one click, and download it as a PDF to print. There's also a button to add that whole week's ingredients to your shopping list at once.

Go to "My profile" and click "✏️ Edit my profile": there you can upload a photo, write a short bio, change your name/username/email/language, and change your password (it'll ask for your current one first).

At least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter and one symbol (e.g. !, @, # or similar). If you type one that doesn't meet this, the field turns red with the explanation right away, without needing to submit the form to find out.

They're the categories you're most interested in (like "Desserts" or "Vegetarian"). Pick them from "My profile", and with no filters active, Home will show matching recipes first.

Open their profile (search from Home, or click an author's name on a recipe or comment) and click "Follow". If you follow someone, their new recipes show up in a separate section on Home, "Recipes from people you follow".

Yes, on anyone's profile (except your own) there's a star rating section. The average shows below their photo, next to the total likes on their recipes.

Click the 🔍 icon in the header (next to the notifications bell), available on any page when you're signed in, and type their name or username. On your own profile you'll also see suggestions of people you may know.

On the login screen, click "Forgot your password?", enter your username or email, and if you have an email on file you'll get a link to choose a new one.

At the top you'll find ES/EN/CA for the language, and the moon icon 🌙 for dark mode. Your chosen language is saved to your account; dark mode is remembered in this browser.

From their profile, click "✉️ Send message". You can also see all your conversations from "Messages" in the menu, which also shows how many unread messages you have.

Yes, inside the thread there's a "🗑️ Delete" button that removes the whole conversation with that person. This can't be undone.

Yes, with "👥 Create group" inside Messages: pick a name and who to add, from among the people you follow. You can add more people to the group later, and any member's name links to their profile even if you don't follow them yet.

Yes, inside the group there's a "🚪 Leave group" button. If you're the last person to leave, the group gets deleted entirely.

Yes, with the pin 📌 next to each conversation or group. You can pin up to 3 in total (conversations and groups combined).

A section with articles, tricks and updates about the recipe book, visible to anyone without an account. You can "❤️ Like" an article if you're signed in.

No, Magazine articles can only be created by the site's administrator, from their panel.

Yes, just like recipes: at the bottom of each article there's a comment thread where you can write, reply, attach photos, and mention someone with @username.

Type @ followed by a username in any comment or message. If it exists, it turns into a link to their profile, and that person gets notified that you mentioned them (they can turn this off in their notification preferences if they want).

Only affects Magazine articles, and only the admin sees it: a "draft" article isn't visible to anyone else yet, and a "scheduled" one publishes itself automatically at the date and time set, without anyone needing to come back and publish it by hand.
